After many years of studying art and working with different materials, I finally found a teacher who could teach classical methods which I consider a necessary foundation for the art of painting.

Living in the Galilee makes me very interested in painting landscapes – you simply cannot ignore the beauty that surrounds you. I formerly did it in my old, more abstract style and I'm doing it now in a new realistic style.

I am very attracted to the magic in painting, creating the illusion of a world , a life on a piece of canvas. Yes, there is still room for such paintings in our modern word , although nothing can capture nature the way the human eye does.

Its the work of the eye and the brain, the visual game they play that makes the process of unique perception, and the moment of painting unrepeatable.

I admire nature – from a distance.

The work of painting is a process of getting close , learning, intimacy, understanding and becoming one with nature.

People are nature too – I regard them in the same way.

I try to understand the way that our vision transmits the feelings of beauty and pleasure which exist in nature.

I try to capture the sequence of moments experienced.

The viewer can experience them too.
